To give our great staff a break and to allow us to spend time with our families, we will be closing the shop between Christmas and New Years. We will reopen on January 2nd, 2009.
I want to thank all our staff for a great first season and thank all our customers for their support. We look forward to being better than ever in 2009 with lots of exciting products.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
(for those of you who are celebrating these events like we are)
Happy Holidays to everyone else.
And if you are one of the unlucky ones who have had to work through this time of retail mayhem - thanks to you too and best wishes.
...and of course doctors, nurses, and hospital staff, whose holidays never seem to coincide with the "seasonal" holidays. |

KYMCO announces the SunnyBoy electric bike! |
KYMCO, as many of us know, is one of the very best Taiwanese scooter and motorcycle manufacturers on the planet. Most scooter enthusiasts place KYMCO right on par with such longtime Japanese manufacturers as Honda. Plus, we often get a good chuckle from the Taiwanese manufacturer's odd choice of names, such as "Bet and Win," "Grand Dink" and "Hipster." We also love the slogan, "Better than the Best." We promise, we're not making any of those up.
This being the case, we're excited to hear that the manufacturer is entering the electric cycle market. The first ebike to leave the factory will be known as the SunnyBoy... seriously, we just assume that these names sound much better in Taiwan. In any case, the new ebike is sure to be a quality piece and is scheduled to go on sale in its home market early in '09. We expect that the machine will hit the export market sometime in 2010. At Scooter Underground, we will be following the KYMCO Sunnyboy closely and we will be trying to get prototypes to test under our conditions and provide feedback to the factory...stay tuned.

Scooter Underground will be closed to observe Remembrance Day.

The Victoria Police Mutual Benevolent Association has its annual Police Ball on November 8th at the Empress Hotel. Scooter Underground has proudly supported their raffle -
all proceeds go to Cops for Cancer.
We love to work closely with our local cops and we love it when they are friendly to ebikes and scooterists. The local cops have been great - the local parking guys not so great but we are working on this. We may be calling on our customers to sign a petition to be more progressive in parking regulations such as Portland, Oregon. |

Get ready for winter! Two things to think about at this time of year. If you park your scooter for the winter, you need to know how to properly winterize it.
A few little precautions can save you a lot of grief come spring time.
If you ride through the winter, you need to get the right gear for both you and your scooter. Good tires are very important on wet streets. Accessories such as jackets, rainwear, scooterskirts, covers, and gloves are top sellers. |

Happy Halloween from all of us at Scooter Underground! (The neat carved pumpkin is an image courtesy of the folks at 2Stokebuzz)
For our Halloween week sale, we have slashed the prices on all genuine Vespa T-Shirts and hoodies by 50%. Come on in and have a look - a great selection of men's and women's sizes. Makes a great Christmas gift for the scooterist. These are Genuine Vespa wear and the T-shirts are made in the USA. |

Great new winter riding gear is arriving daily. Stay warm and dry this winter when riding your scooter. New jackets from Olympia, TourMaster, and Corazzo. Great selection of rainwear and gloves.
On another matter......
Without wanting to keep crying wolf, we strongly advise you to look at purchasing a scooter now. All scooters are purchased in $US. We bought most of ours when the CDN$ was about $0.98US. Today the $CDN hit $0.78 CDN. If this keeps up, scooters will be more expensive next year. |

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Driving around town on the Thanksgiving weekend, it struck me how many scooters and motorcycles I saw riding around.
With all the great cool weather clothing, there is now very little excuse not to drive your scooter year 'round. Come in and check out our rainwear, scooter skirts, and Corazzo armoured jackets. Also, you need to make sure you upgrade to a heavier, warmer pair of gloves at this time of year. We have great gloves from Corazzo and Cortech and many more on the way. |
October 10, 2020
 |
In case you hadn't noticed, the Canadian dollar has plummeted to about $0.84CDN/$US as of today. All scooters and ebikes that we buy are transacted in $US. This means that unless this situation turns around, we will be facing price increases. Most of our current stock is priced when our dollar was close to par and we will keep these prices there. Short story - if you are thinking about buying a scooter, it is probably best to act fast. (We are not just crying wolf - this is real!) |

Just got back from the first SYM and Peugeot meeting. Stay tuned to our site for product and pricing announcements on these two great brands. We will also be providing an update on the 2009 KYMCO products in a couple of weeks.
At the meeting, I met a very interest gentleman named Buck - a new breed of scooter rider.... |

Scooter Prices in 2009.....
Now that your investments are so depressed, we'll hit you with more bad news – scooters will be more expensive in 2009.
Our preliminary look at prices from most of our manufacturers seems to be pointing to an average price increase of about $200 per unit. Worldwide demand for scooters is increasing and North American demand is very strong.
The good news – we are holding the prices on all our existing stock so there are some great fall deals. We know many dealers are just jacking up their prices right now to pocket the extra dough – that’s not the way we like to operate so we are going to pass on the savings until these units are gone. Come on down to the shop to see what fall deals we have in store for you. |

Get ready for fall/winter riding. If you don't already have a Corazzo armoured jacket, now is the time to get one. Also time to look at insulated, waterproof gloves, rain gear, new tires, scooter skirts, goggles, and all those other little accessories that you need to ride safely when the weather turns. We are gearing up with our new winter stock now and have some great deals on last year's stock! |
September 26, 2020
Scooters do not have gears - no shifting - no clutching. While some of the older Vespa's and Hondas have gears and shifting, any new scooter sold in Canada does not, and cannot, have gears - they are automatic - twist n' go. Every new scooter we sell, from 50cc to 500cc has an automatic CVT transmission.

The reason we put this as a news item is that we get this question all the time. Many people are discouraged from looking at scooters since they think they have to learn to drive and shift gears - no so. Come down for a test drive and get in on the fun
September 21, 2020
Starting October 1st, we will be switching to Fall/Winter hours which means that we will be closed on Mondays. During the next little while, we will be clearing out some of our summer merchandise at great sale prices - stop by the shop - we are creating a new Clearance Corner with some spectacular deals.

Over the fall and winter, we will be attending several merchandise shows to make sure we are right on top of the greatest scooters and scooter accessories for 2009.
We will also be working on launching our eCommerce sites which we intend to be the best sources for scooter parts, accessories, and clothing on the planet. (We have modest goals)

September 18th, 2008
We have another large order of ezeebikes that are due to arrive within the next couple of weeks. For those of you who have been waiting for an ezeebike, please make sure you are on our waiting list as these are sure to go quickly. ezeebikes have proven to be one of the most reliable performers of all the electric bikes we have tried - and that is a long list.
September 15th, 2008
More SYM's have arrived and will be ready for test rides. The SYM Symply 50cc scooter and the SYM Fiddle 125 are both great new additions to our product line.
We also have the best maxi-scooter I've seen in the KYMCO xCiting 500 Ri - come on down for a look and a test ride.
September 8th, 2008
SYM Mio's in stock! If you like the Honda Jazz but want something with a bit more zip that can carry two people - this is the scooter for you. We have only been getting a few of these due to high demand worldwide. Come in and check 'em out.

September 6th, 2008
Chrome SOMA Laptop bags now in stock! Just in time for the back to school rush, we have received an order of Chrome messenger bags including the SOMA Laptop bag and the Chrome Laptop sleeve. Chrome bags are the best we've tried. They were designed by messengers for messengers and have a rugged durability, sense of fashion, and waterproofing just not found in the competitors. What we like best is the "seat belt buckle" fastening strap. At first we liked it just 'cause it looks so cool but then we realized how functional it is. Come in and try on a Chrome bag - they might cost a few bucks more than the other guys but they are lifetime warranted. Remember - only the rich can afford to buy junk.

Thanks to all of the UVIC staff and faculty that stopped by to see us at the Green Start marketplace. We were able to let may people test drive eZeebikes and the reaction was fantastic. Ezeebike makes one of the best power assisted bicycles in the business and we are proud to be bringing them to Canada.
September 4th, 2008
Welcome to all UVIC students - we are on campus again today as part of the Green Start Marketplace. Drop by and visit us fro one day only specials on Chrome Bags, Corazzo jackets, and other neat scooter and ebike stuff such as T-shirts and hoodies.
September 3rd, 2008
The KYMCO People 125's have landed but are still being uncrated and pre-delivery inspected. Should have at least one ready for a test ride by this weekend.
August 29th, 2008
KYMCO People S 125 scooter shipment due next week - get on the list if you are not there already. These scooters have been sold out virtually all summer and have been popular worldwide. As one of the largest KYMCO dealers in Canada, we were able to secure another shipment but they are going to go fast.
August 28th, 2008
Helmets do not last forever! We are concerned by how many of our scooter customers are using helmets that are either ill-fitting, non-DOT approved, or have obviously been crashed. Over time, the linings of many helmets pack so that they become sloppy - a poor fitting helmet offers poor protection. Helmets are not expensive, especially considering the precious cargo they are protecting. Come down to Scooter Underground where we have one of the best selections of scooter helmets in Canada.
August 20th, 2008

They are here - CPI GTR's - the scooter that thinks it's a race bike! These have been in very short supply for the last 12 months so we stepped up to the plate and got a half dozen of them. One sold the moment it hit the floor - the rest are likely to go quickly (pun intended).
The CPI GTR is one of the most consistently high rated 50 cc scooters - looks more like a sport bike yet there are no gears to change and you can ride it with just a standard driver's licence.
Come in soon for a test drive while we have some of these in stock.
August 18th, 2008

Scooter Underground has been invited to be an exhibitor at the UVIC Green Start Marketplace on September 3rd and 4th - the first two days of classes. The University of Victoria created the Green Start Marketplace to showcase products and companies that promote sustainable, healthy living. We will be showing, and hopefully allowing test drives, of ezeebike electric bicycles and other brands of electric scooters such as Kaishan. We will likely have gas scooters from KYMCO and PGO on display depending on available room. We will also have related accessories such as Chrome messenger bags, Corazzo Safety Jackets, and Cortech gloves. If you are a UVIC student or faculty member, please drop by and see us.
August 8th, 2008
WOW! We have just received another shipment of ezeebike electric bicycles.http://www.ezeebikecanada.com. Although many are pre-sold, we have a full complement in the showroom on display. We have sold a ton of these bikes and they are proving to be a real quality leader in the electric power assisted bicycle market.

The ezeebike Quando II shown above was recently featured in Air Canada's en Route Magazine as one of those great new "must have" products.

August 6th, 2008

We are proud to announce that we are a dealer for the Repsol brand of lubricants. Repsol oils are tremendously popular among racers and high-end performance riders where taking chances with other brands is not an option.
Whether you drive a 2 stroke or 4 stroke, we have the Repsol oil that is right for you - either non-synthetic, synthetic, or blend.
For 2 stroke oil, Repsol has a reputation for being the most smokeless and odorless two stroke oil available. Repsol lubricants cost only a few cents more per tank full but help to protect your investment and improve your ride.
(We will soon be posting an article all about oils in our "knowledge" section.)
August 5th
The KYMCO Vitality 2 strokes are going out as fast as they are coming in. KYMCO People 125 and KYMCO People 200 are completely sold out but we are expecting more soon. We have secured a pretty good supply of PGO Metro 50 (Buddy 50) scooters except for black which is currently in short supply. Please get on our wait lists to avoid disappointment - we want you to be riding a scooter from Scooter Underground this summer!
August 1, 2021

Looking forward to a great BC Day long weekend. The weather forecast is looking pretty good to be out enjoying your scooter. Scooter Underground will be closed on Monday, August 4th to observe the holiday...we all need a break too! Lots of exciting products coming in the weeks ahead so keep visiting the web site and the store.
There is a SYM RV 250 in the showroom right now if you want to see this spectacular scooter. This one is sold - get yours on order!

July 30th, 2008
KYMCO Vitality's are here. The KYMCO Vitality 50 cc 2 stroke scooter is one of the best scooter values out there for a quality machine - no wonder we keep running out of them. Well, we just got a large shipment in with the full range of colours. If you are on a waiting list, your phone should be ringing about now.
If you were thinking about one of these, act fast since they will probably be sold out before you know it.
July 29th, 2008
Here comes the rain again. After a few weeks of glorious sunshine, the clouds have opened up just to remind us where we live.
Be prepared with proper rain gear. We have a wide selection starting to arrive for the fall from recognized brands such as TourMaster.
We carry rain suit jackets and pants that are particularly well suited to scooterists.
A rain suit is easily stowed underneath the scooter seat so you can have it on hand when you need it.
July 23rd, 2008
We recommend the Vancouver Island Safety Council courses to all our customers. Last week, I finally found the time to take their Novice Course and Traffic Skills course. I cannot stress how strongly we feel about scooter riders taking this kind of training. It not only makes you a much safer rider, but if you follow it through, it will lead towards getting your Class 6 motorcycle license which will allow you to ride scooters of any size. (Read the Blog for details about the course)
One of the motorcycles they have on hand is a KYMCO Venox 250. I had a chance to ride this motorcycle along with many of the completive offerings from Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki. I also listened to the opinions of other riders in the class who had the opportunity to make the same comparison without any biases. The result - the KYMCO Venox 250 is a real winner in this class.
July 15th, 2008
Scooters, scooters everywhere! No, this isn't Victoria, it's Florence, Italy. Hard to imagine what would happen if these were all replaced with cars - total gridlock.
July 13th, 2008
Check out this link and make a point of riding your scooter to work on Wednesday!
http://www.ridetowork.org/

Ride your motorcycle or scooter on this day to demonstrate:
- The number of motorcyclists to the general public and to politicians.
- That motorcyclists are from all occupations and all walks of life.
- That motorcyclists can reduce traffic and parking congestion in large cities.
- That motorcycles are for transportation as well as recreation.
- That motorcycling is a social good.
July 9th, 2008
Increases to freight charges are now inevitable and will likely take place at the start of next week. We have been holding our prices as low as possible for as long and possible but freight increases can no longer be ignored. In short, you will probably save close to $100 buying a scooter this week versus next week.
July 7th, 2008
Kaishan Electric scooters - they came, they went, they will come again. Contact the shop to get on a wait list if you want one of these - we are currently placing a large order but, as usual, most of them will be sold within a day or two of arrival. We have one demo model that we are keeping at the shop so that you can drop by for a try. The Kaishans have been the most hassle free electric scooter we have tested and we have tried many.
July 5th, 2008
We have a few exciting products on the way from SYM. The SYM RV 250 is one of the best scooters in the 250 cc class and has garnered some very favorable press recently from all who have had the opportunity to put one through its paces.
We have only 2 coming over the next few weeks and they may already be sold. If you want to see one when they get here, stop by the shop or send us an email so that we can contact you one they arrive.

We are sold out of SYM Mio's (shown below) but are taking waiting list requests for those as well. If you like the styling of the Honda Jazz but want more performance and features is a similar 4 stroke package, this is your baby.

The nice things about the SYM Mio vs. similar 4 strokes: more power and top end speed. Capable of carrying a passenger and has a larger seat and footpegs for doing so. Also has front disk brake.
July 4th, 2008
We are now officially sold out of KYMCO Super 9 Liquid Cooled models. We still have very limited supplies of the KYMCO Super 9 Air Cooled models.
If you are thinking of a Super 9 (one of the greatest 50 cc scooters ever), we advise you to come by the shop very soon and at least get your name on one. The KYMCO Super9 is one of those legendary 2 stroke 50cc scooters that has stormed the streets of Victoria and brought smiles to many faces. If you see one on the street, just ask the rider how they like it - we're very confident you'll like what you hear!
July 2nd, 2008
What a great Canada Day!
Hope you were able to get out for a scoot around town. Sure was nice dodging all the traffic when I rode an electric bike downtown to check out the happenings. The eZeebikes are truly remarkable machines and it's no wonder they are selling out like crazy. They may cost a bit more than some of the competitors but are well worth it.
At the Underground, we have been spending a lot of time these days trying to secure product. We have a large KYMCO order coming soon and some more PGO Metros (maybe even a few more of the rare pink ones).
Come on down for a test ride and at least get on a waiting list if we do not have your current favorite in stock.
June 27th
Looking forward to a great weekend. Scooter Underground will be taking part in an eco-friendly vehicle display as part of the tall ship festival. If you are out and about on Saturday, stop by the display where we will have some of the ezeebike electric bicycle products and Kaishan electric scooters on hand and available for demonstration. Todd and Colin from the shop will be on hand so you can pick their brains on what is happening in the field of electric bikes and scooters.
Place: West Bay Marina
Time:10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

June 26th
Just arrived - Condor Helmet holders. In a nutshell, simply the best way to hang your helmet to keep it handy and looking its best.
June 23rd
Scooters do not have gears! No gears to change- just Twist n' Go. This may not be news but we are asked this often enough that we thought we would put it here. New scoters sold in Canada cannot have gears - this is one of the primary factors that differentiates a scooter from a motorcycle. Instead of gears, they have a neat technology called a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
June 20th
This is the same news that I posted on April 20th but it is relevant again today. The last few CPI GTR's we got in came and went within a couple of days. If you are interested, get in here and get on the list!
More CPI GTR's are on the way! This is the sport bike of scooters and has a reputation for quality and for being the fastest 50cc scooter on the market. No gears - just twist and go fun with great looks to match.

We have at least two coming - one in red and one in blue. They are expected to hit the Underground next couple of weeks. If you want to have a look at a 50cc scooter that really looks and performs like a sport bike, come in and see these.
June 19th
Just arrived - ready for test drives by next week - the undeniably cool TOMOS Arrow!
This scooter appeals to a wide range of buyers. RV owners love them since they are lightweight and the lack of body panel makes them easy to load and unload without damaging them.
Youthful riders like the bare bones minimalist look and prefer to carry all their "supplies" in a backpack anyway.
June 16th
Just getting that scooter out of winter hibernation? Battery dead? Runs like crap? You are not alone my friend. Now that the sun is out, everyone wants their scooter and they want it now. Our problem is that we are unable to clone our technicians so that we have a whole herd of them. This means that there are waits - not that bad, but we advise you to book an appointment at least a week before you want to use your scooter. Also, the industry has gone crazy and there are parts backorders for many models. Avoid disappointment and book today. Book appointment.

June 14th
Finally - weather that makes us proud to be Victorians. Just when we were getting sick and tired of being hassled by our east coast friends about the cold and the rain, the weather gods came through.
There were some rare pink "Buddy" sightings this week. We only received a few of these scoots and they are now out on the streets. Reports from happy owners and interested observers are hitting the shop - we're trying to get more, no promises.
The pink "Buddy" is the PGO Metro 50 scooter with optional pink body panels. Other options are white seat and handgrips, chrome racks, whitewall scooter tires, and many more. We have what it takes to dress up your PGO Metro scooter to make your own statement.
June 6th
We're seeing red! We just managed to secure a special shipment of 10 more red PGO Metro 50 cc 2 stroke scooters (Known in the USA as the "Genuine Buddy") These little scoots are as hot as their red colour and won't last long - come on down for a test drive.

June 2nd (Part 1)
A short while ago I was advising prospective purchasers not to wait since we felt that a scooter supply crunch was coming. Well, that crunch has started. Here is a direct quote from our KYMCO dealer newsletter:
"We
(KYMCO Canada) are nearly sold out of People S
50 and Super 9 AC, and are
working on backorder lists for
Vitality 50 2T, People S
125/200, Bet&Win 150/250
and Venox. This situation is
not unique to Canada. Dealers
in the USA are currently
waiting 30-60 days to receive
their backordered scooters.
We are working closely with
KYMCO to meet consumer
demand as quickly as possible but
worldwide production is not able
to keep up with sales."
Most of our other manufacturers are singing the same time. Electric bicycles and scooters...ditto.
Please act now so that you are not disappointed this summer by long waits for the hot products.
June 2nd (Part 2)
For those of you who have been waiting for a Kaishan electric scooter, we have been advised that we should be seeing more of them by next week.
If you are looking for scooter related books, we have become an Amazon Affiliate so that you can easily order any scooter book they offer through our web site. We also have a pretty good selection of books in the shop at any given time but online is the way to go for the largest selection. Tell your friends -- if you order through our site, we get a small commission yet your price is the best possible Amazon price!
May 22nd
We are pleased to announce that we have become an authorized dealer for Peugeot scooters and SYM Scooters. Most people are familiar with the Peugeot name and they make some really exciting models. The bad news is that we will not see any Peugeot models until next season.
On the other hand, we will be seeing some SYM scooters very shortly.
SYM is one of the most respected names in scooters in Taiwan and they make some really neat models which complement rather than compete with our lines from KYMCO and PGO.
The first SYM scooter we will see is the MIO - a very Honda Jazz-like scooter but with some key features that we would love to show you.
May 20th
Thanks to all of those who took part in the Moustache Scooter Rally this long weekend.
Many participants dropped by the shop and we got plenty of rave reviews. We were proud to be a sponsor this year!
For the most part, the weather held up and the participants that we spoke to were having a great time. Looking forward to seeing even more of you at the next Rally!
Well done to the Capital City Scooter Club for putting on this event. www.capitalcityscooterclub.com
May 13th
An xCiting day here at the Underground. Yes, the KYMCO xCiting 500cc fuel injected maxi-scooter has arrived. This is one of the most advanced scooters in the world and is a fantastic looking machine. They are still in the crates but should be unveiled by the weekend. If you want a scooter capable of highway commuting and still a great ride around town - this is your machine. Twist n' go simplicity of no gears but tremendous power and comfort.

May 12, 2021
This is it - summer is here! (Touch wood) Forecast is for some warmer temperatures moving toward the long weekend so should be good for scootering. The Underground will be closed for the Victoria Day holiday on May 19th so that we can all get out and ride.
We are often asked about what it costs to get into scootering. Of course, this number is all over the map but we can tell you the items to consider:
Scooter (duh)- price range of about $2,300 - $3,500 for a 50cc model purchased new
Helmet (or two depending on styles and desire to carry a passenger) - $100-400
Protective goggles or eyewear (may not be required depending on helmet selection) - $30 - $150
Protective Gloves - $45 - $125
Protective Jacket such as Corazzo - $200 - 275
Good quality lock (disc brake type or chain type) - $30 - $60
Cargo Box or Messenger Bag - $75 - $250
Insurance - $300 - $500 per year
May 9th, 2008
OK - this must be the official start to summer. We have seen some sun for three consecutive days and more sun is in the forecast.
This posting is not going to try to sell you stuff or announce cool new products. It's just a reminder that this Sunday is Mothers Day - don't forget!
May 5th, 2008
As predicted last week, we did have a sunny day this week. Sunday was a beautiful day to be out and about on a scooter. It's time to get your scooter out of the garage now and book a service appointment to get it ready for summer. We service virtually all makes including Vespa, Honda, Yamaha, KYMCO, PGO, Derbi, Aprillia, TNG, and many more.
The KYMCO People 125 scooter is now in the showroom and our staff are raving about this scooter.
The right combination of power, fuel economy, and sporty performance make this big-wheeled scooter a real winner. If you have a motorcycle licence, come on in for a test ride or better yet, book a test ride online. For 50cc scooter riders, this is a very logical upgrade.

New to the shop this week are some great stylish reflective vests from Crash Wear. www.crashwear.net.

These are great safety items that look a whole lot cooler than those geeky orange vests with the big green X (like the ones we use on test drives :)
Eastern Canada has seen an early start to summer and dealers there are ordering scooters in record numbers. We advise you to act early this year to secure your ride for the summer. Summer will come soon. Summer WILL come soon. Yes, summer WILL come soon.

More CPI GTR's are on the way! This is the sport bike of scooters and has a reputation for quality and for being the fastest 50cc scooter on the market. No gears - just twist and go fun with great looks to match.

We have at least two coming - one in red and one in blue. They are expected to hit the Underground next week. If you want to have a look at a 50cc scooter that really looks and performs like a sport bike, come in and see these.
OK, so the weather has been crappy to say the least. One thing we want to reiterate is that we will not be conducting any test rides when it is wet (or snowing) outside no matter how much you beg. We know we know how to ride in a variety of conditions but, for safety sake, we want to take our customers out in good conditions. We shattered the snowfall record in Victoria for this time of year - beat out the one from 1955 - how lovely.

In an earlier post, I said that there may be a shortage of scooters this summer. I know that sounded like a bit of a sales pitch but it's true. Now, to further instill some urgency, we have the very real threat of price increases. You see, worldwide demand for scooters is on the rise. PGO Canada has warned us that we may see price increases of up to 20% in the next month or two.
We are trying to protect our customers from price increases and supply shortages by loading up on inventory when the good product is available. The best deals on on scooter for this summer are happening right now!

The new KYMCO's have arrived and they are absolutely fantastic. The People 125 big wheeled scooter is a winner. For those of you who had Honda Cubs or Honda Supercubs, this will take you back to those days. Big wheeled scooters have different handling characteristics and offer a really smooth ride, especially on bumpier roads. They take a little longer to get up to speed but once you are there, it's pure luxury.
We also got the People 125 in white - you have got to see it - very cool! (These will be in very limited supply!)
We encourage you to use this web site to book test drives since we are getting really busy and want to be able to spend time with you without rushing.
More great jackets from Corazzo including the Speedway with mesh stripe on the back for cooler summer riding.
We may be able to get our hands on a few more KYMCO People 50 4 strokes and also some KYMCO Vitality 4 strokes so give us a call if you are interested and we can put your name beside one. These units are the king of clean, green, and quiet. Not quite as fast as their 2 stroke brethren but for many, it's not all about speed.
Stay tuned for our photos of our Scooter Underground special edition pink "Buddy" 50 scooters.

Some exciting stuff happening this week at the underground. We got a whack of scooters from PGO including the PMX Naked (Rattler), PGO Metro 50 (Buddy Scooter), and PGO Metro 125 (Buddy Italia). WOW! the new colours are great - a really neat metallic beige and, our special custom order pink, plus others.
We also got confirmation from KYMCO that our new Vitality 50 2 strokes, People S125, and Super9 AC units will be here within a week.
Without wanting to sound too much like salespeople, if you want a scooter this season, we advise you to act fast. As you can imagine, the combination of the green movement, high parking costs, and high fuel prices, are combining to create the "Perfect Storm" for scooter demand.
We started stockpiling inventory last winter with all the great product we could find but it is starting to go quickly and the season is just getting started.
Even if you are not ready to buy for a month or two, come on down for a test ride and get on one of our waiting lists so that you will not be disappointed. Get the scooter you want rather than settling for whatever is left over when you are ready to buy.
One other point, prices are only going to rise based on worldwide demand (gee, we do sound like those dreaded salespeople.)
