How Far?
This bike will give the rider a range of approx. 80 - 100 km on flat terrain. It takes about 4-6 hours to charge the battery from empty.
How Fast?
Federal and Provincial regulations limit electric bicycles to 32 km/hr peak speeds. These speeds are attained quickly and smoothly.

Who's It For?
When we sold the Kaishan scooters, they were among the best of what was a pretty bad breed.
There were some issuues with assembly so we used to spend about two hours with every new one we received to make sure all the connectors were done properly and they would function OK in wet weather. We would give feedback to the manufacturer through the distributer and the next batch would be improved only to be followed by others with quality control problems.
Not sure if they are still coming into Canada as of 2014. We would only recommend touching them if they have a good dealer support. (probably not)
Sorry to sound negative, but you are bound to have issues with these and unless you are an electronic hobbyist who doesn't mind having to hunt for parts - just say "NO"
